After we left Vail we headed for Wheeler Flats Campground along the Colorado Trail, a free campsite we had scoped out earlier on freecampsites.net. We spent the night about 24 miles outside of Vail. Here are some pictures of our campsite.

Vail, CO
We left the Continental Divide and drove towards Vail, CO. Vail is a very nice ski town. The town came to be thanks to Vail Ski Resort.
