Grand Teton National Park, WY

Grand Teton National Park protects some of the most exquisite and spectacular mountain scenery we have seen on our trip.  We spent a few hours driving through the Tetons and taking in the amazing scenery.

Jackson Lake is the remnant of large glacial gouging and is fed by runoff from small glaciers near the peaks of the Teton mountains. The main source of water is the Snake River from the North.

Jackson Lake Dam was built at the mouth of the naturally formed Jackson Lake to increase the volume of water in the Lake.

Jenny Lake was formed about 12,000 years ago.
