The Biltmore

George had visited the Biltmore previously however I had never been there.  We decided to go so I could see it.  George spent time outside taking in the gardens and scenery while I toured the house.  We were able to purchase discounted tickets from the Asheville Visitors Center from a tip we picked up on Trip Advisor.

The Conservatory

George went back to the van for lunch and another camper van saw us and parked next to us.

We stopped along the side of road above the banks of the Bass pond on the estate for snack before leaving the grounds.  This was our view followed by a few shots of our van.

This was the waterfall at the Bass pond.

George claims these were the Vanderbilt's.  I am certain it was a couple out for a romantic horse drawn carriage ride.
