Grovewood Antique Car Museum and Grove Park Inn

After our visit to the Biltmore we headed towards Grovewood Antique Car Museum.  The museum and other surrounding Grovewood Gallery building once housed Biltmore Industries.

The foremost car on the left is a 1927 LaSalle.  The one on the right is 1950 MG TD.

1957 Cadillac Eldorado

1915 Model T

1959 Edsel

1922 American LaFrance fire truck

1955 Cadillac Sedan

The museum offered handouts on automobile trivia.

The museum host recommended that we visit Grove Park Inn while we were there.

The view from the Inn.

There is a National Gingerbread House competition.  The one below was our favorite.  Can you guess why?

I saw this one and had to snap a picture for my sister.

The way to Grovewood was off of Country Club Rd.  It was like we were back in York!
