I asked the lady behind the counter what she would recommend that did not contain meat. She made me Chilaquiles with Christmas (both red and green chile) and they were spectacular!
We bought some sweet treats out of the pastry case. The gringo description provided was sweet bread. We describe them as donut-cake-cookies, and yes, they tasted as delicious as they sound.
