Field Trip to Hilsher's

We picked up Sarah in the Spooky Chevy for our field trip. The Spooky Chevy was originally owned by Merle of Port Trevorton and that is where we were headed, so it was only fitting that we drive that car.

We stopped by Red Rabbit on the way for bunny burgers (not really made of bunnies).

We arrived in Port Trevorton and as we drove through town we saw Merle!


The last time Merle had seen the Spooky Chevy it had just been pulled out of a barn, where it had sat for the last ~30 years, and looked like this...

A true general store...they have everything in there; a bank, a home-cooked food counter, even an ACE Hardware!


We look really good in Amish bonnets!
