Backpacking 101

Words of advice from a seasoned backpacker:

Take every possible opportunity to practice your backpacking skills. For example, 

1. If you happen to take stuff down to the car make sure to take your backpack (fully packed) along. You must "practice".

2. Pull the straps tight

3. Always wear a goofy smile.  It completes the ensemble. 

4. Take "practice" trips

Don't look so scared.... Remember it's just practice
